Cross Keys in the Cup

Apparently the club won’t be producing a programme for the Cross Keys game on Saturday, so here for your reading pleasure is the article that would have appeared on the Supporters Club page had there been one.  Enjoy!

Well it wasn’t too bad a Christmas after all. Two wins from two games and things are looking up after the tough start to the season.  Whilst the league table looks a little better today, there is still much work to be done and more games to be won before we can all breathe a sigh of relief.   And whilst today’s cup game will obviously have no bearing on where we finish in the league, it is vital in terms building our confidence and keeping the Christmas momentum going.

Meanwhile the Neath Rugby Supporters Club would like to thank its members who have been busy purchasing our polo shirts, hoodies, mugs and other merchandise in the run up to Christmas.  With the money we made on these items, we were able to donate a set of bibs to the ball boys before the Aberavon game on Boxing Day.  The donation is the second one the supporters club have made this season, following on from the nutritional supplements we supplied to the players back in September.   Even though Christmas has gone, the merchandise is still available for order for members.

Even though we’ve made two donations our fundraising continues.  We hope to reveal details of our next event very soon, so keep an eye on our website for details www.neathrugbysupporters.com .

Don’t forget, that as members you are always welcome to make any suggestions as to how we can raise funds and help the team.  Feel free to contact us at info@neathrugbysupporters.com , on Twitter @neathsupporters or simply come and see us in the clubhouse before and after home games.
