Neath Rugby Supporters Club have made yet another donation to the Neath RFC squad.
Following on from the donations of nutritional supplements and ball boy tabards made earlier in the season, the supporters club have now donated a set of training tops to the playing squad. The tops were worn by the replacement players during the Neath v Carmarthen fixture last Saturday.
A spokesman for Neath Rugby Supporters Club said “When we started the supporters club last summer we aimed to make one presentation to the squad at the end of the season. The fact that we have now made three donations by the end of February is a testament to the fantastic response we have received from Neath’s rugby fans. The generosity of our members has been fantastic in supporting our ventures and it is because of this we have been able to support the boys on the field in a practical way.”
As well as these presentations, the work of Neath Rugby Supporters Club continues with its inaugural Hall of Fame celebration being planned for later in the summer.
The spokesman said “The Hall of Fame is something that has really caught the imagination of supporters, with nominations pouring in. The celebration evening later in the summer is something that people are really looking forward to and there is a real buzz of anticipation in the air with fans eager to pay tribute great and the good of Neath RFC.
