Following a story that appeared in Saturday’s Western Mail regarding a letter sent by some fans to Neath MP Peter Hain concerning the future of Neath RFC, a supporters meeting has now been called.

Some supporters have asked Neath RFC rugby secretary Mike Price to invite Geraint Hawkes, Mike Cuddy and Neath RFC General Manager Nicola Woodfine to the meeting.

The meeting will be held this Thursday, 21 November at the Dark Arch pub in Neath at 7:00pm.

Please note that this is NOT a Neath Rugby Supporters Club organised event and is therefore open to ALL supporters and not just our members.  We have however agreed to help publicise the meeting to ensure that as many fans as possible are able to attend.

Neath Rugby Supporters Club will attempt to remain neutral in this matter and will await any outcome before commenting further on the situation.
