So, after the pre-season friendlies, the unsuccessful B&I Cup qualifier and a week off we finally get down to league action on Saturday with the visit of old rivals Llanelli to the Gnoll.

The Neath Rugby Supporters Club continues to gather momentum.  We signed up lots of new members at the Bridgend game and we’ll be in the clubhouse before and after Saturday’s game if anyone still wants to join.

Don’t forget it only costs £10 to join and all profits made by the Supporters Club will be ploughed back in to help the squad with any kit or equipment purchases they may need.  Help us to help the team return to the top of Welsh club rugby.

Following on from our successful Meet the Players evening last month, plans are afoot for our next event, details of which we hope to bring you soon.

In the meantime we are now taking orders for Neath Rugby Supporters Club polo shirts.  The shirts are exclusively available to members and can be ordered from our table in the clubhouse before or after Saturday’s game.  They cost just £10.

Finally, we are also on the lookout for volunteers to help run the club.  We currently need a treasurer to look after the club’s finances.  We are also on the lookout for 2 or 3 general helpers, people who can just help out with small things at games/events etc (selling raffle tickets etc.).
