Meet the Players Evening

GnollNeath Rugby Supporters Club will be hosting a Meet the Players evening on Thursday 22 August 2013 at 7:45pm.

With the new season just a matter of weeks away, fans of Neath RFC are being invited to the clubhouse for a chance to get to know the players and coaches and to hear of their plans and hopes for the forthcoming campaign.

Neath RFC are aiming to build on last season’s performances, which of course culminated in an appearance in the SWALEC Cup Final.

They have been busy recruiting during the summer, appointing a new Head Coach and captain as well as a whole host of players. They have also signed up a number of last season’s squad including new Welsh wing sensation Dafydd Howells.

The evening will feature a Question and Answer session with Neil Edwards, whilst there will also be an opportunity to look back on last season with the presentation of a number of awards as voted for on the unofficial fans internet forum (www.blackarmy.freeforums.org)

Fans who wish to ask Neil a question are asked to submit it prior to the evening. They can do so by leaving a comment below or in any of the following ways:
E-mail – info@neathrugbysupporters.com
Facebook – www.facebook.com/neathrugbysupporters
Twitter – @neathsupporters and use the #asknelly hashtag
Supporters on line forum – www.blackarmy.freeforums.org

This is the first event is to be organised by the new Neath Rugby Supporters Club and therefore is open to everyone. For those wishing to join the club there will be opportunities available on the night. Membership costs just £10 for the season. Supporters who have previously joined will be able to collect their membership cards on the evening.

As you know, the supporters club was formed earlier this year in order to create a link between the fans and the team and to help raise funds for the club and we would urge Neath fans everywhere to get behind us as we support the team in its ambition to return to the top of Welsh club rugby.

We hope to see you there.
